Members of the culinary section diligently worked on Friday in order to prepare a variety of dishes, cakes and natural juices, which they exhibited and sold to visitors. The aim was to promote healthy food.
“We had a great time. We were preparing our meals for two hours. The offer included chicken salad with mushrooms and a bit of mayonnaise to be healthier, bulgur salad with tomatoes, parsley, feta cheese and olive oil, and bruschetta’s made of French bread with garlic, olive oil and tomatoes. Our customers were very happy,” said Sabaha Trlo, head of the culinary section at the Center for Healthy Ageing Novo Sarajevo.
Visitors could also buy cherry cake and cherry juice. They sold all the food and they are very satisfied.
“We cook every Friday and we have a monthly budget which is limited, so this money will come in handy for the Center and our section. This is a nice experience where we met a lot of good people. We’re tired, but happy,” said Sabaha.
The doors of most of museums in Sarajevo were opened until after midnight, and entrance was free for all the visitors.
