Minister Goran Mutabdžija stressed that at no time does this mean that the RS is going beyond the scope of the Dayton Agreement, which defined that education is exclusively the responsibility of the entities.
‘’This means that every item from this project that involves the formation of an umbrella agency at the state level, responsible for the implementation of this project, is not acceptable for us. At this stage, the partial participation of B&H in this program will not be placed as a question’’, said Mutabdžija, and explained that the RS looks at the positive experiences of Belgium, in which three agencies were formed on the basis of language, for French, Flemish and the German-speaking part, while Germany has seven such agencies.
He added that the RS is open for the improvement of educational processes for youth, students, and all those engaged at universities in the RS, through European programs for education, which are a part of the great ERASMUS+ program.
‘’This program has two degrees. First is the partial participation on the basis of partnership basis, and the second is full participation. We are now giving consent for B&H to participate in this program in the field of partial participation, as a partner, for which it will pay an entrance ticket of 115.000 Euros’’, said Mutabdžija.
He added that it has still not been defined how much this entity, specifically the Education Ministry, would participate in this.
