Members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) attempted to detain the President of the Republika Srpska entity Milorad Dodik today, but were opposed by members of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was confirmed to Klix.ba.
SIPA told Klix.ba that they were threatened with the use of force during this action.
As we learn, this act of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs should be documented as the criminal offense of “Armed Rebellion”.
Namely, by preventing SIPA members from arresting Dodik, members of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs helped the perpetrators of the crimes.
They also learn that SIPA did not send a special unit to the field, but inspectors.
As a reminder, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina previously issued a central arrest warrant for Milorad Dodik, as well as for the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković and the President of the RS National Assembly Nenad Stevandić.
Dodik arrived earlier today at the Administrative Center of the RS Government in East Sarajevo, where he is scheduled to hold a meeting tonight with the mayor and heads of municipalities that make up the City of East Sarajevo.
