Finland’s border guard said it suspected four Russian military planes violated the Nordic country’s airspace on June 10.
The Finnish Ministry of Defense said earlier that it suspected that the Russian military plane had violated the airspace for about two minutes.
“As the investigation progressed, it became apparent that, in addition to the one Russian aircraft previously reported, there is reason to suspect that three other aircraft violated the territorial space,” the border service announced.
The announcement states that it is suspected to be two bombers and two fighter planes.
