Salimović emphasized that both domestic and foreign investors invested in this municipality and that not a single workplace was closed last year.
“From the phase of begging and donations we turned to the business, economy and sustainable survival. We are planning to open around 300 new workplaces in four new production facilities this year,” said Salimović.
He also emphasized that facilities and production will be intended exclusively for export.
“Those are all conditions that we are creating for returnees for their sustainable survival,” said Salimović.
Additionally, agriculture and livestock are developing intensively in the municipality of Srebrenica as well as some other sectors like tourism and hospitality.
“We are trying and we will keep trying not to look at Srebrenica in the same light as it looked 20 years ago. We turned to economic development. We’re going to develop the municipality Srebrenica to be an example, as it was before the war, the fourth municipality by development in B&H,” said Salimović.
