Sarajevo Airport welcomed its millionth passenger of the year today July 8, well ahead of last year when the milestone was achieved on August 1.
In June alone, the airport handled 230.771 travellers, representing an increase of 14% on the same month last year.
During the first half of the year, Sarajevo Airport processed 947.744 travellers, representing an improvement of 31.1% on the same period in 2024, or an additional 224.763 passengers.
Growth is set to continue into July with current scheduled capacity up 15.9% compared to last year.
