The Sarajevo International Airport announced that they are still among the top five airports in Europe in terms of passenger traffic growth.
Referring to data from the Airports Council International (ACI), they pointed out that in the first four months of this year they are still second in the category of European medium airports in terms of passenger traffic growth.
Namely, this growth was 40 percent higher compared to the same period last year.
In addition, air traffic in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first four months of this year is 40.7 percent higher compared to the same period last year, making Bosnia and Herzegovina among the top 10 fastest growing air traffic in Europe and the region.
Sarajevo Airport reminded that the capital city is connected to 34 destinations across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa through 24 regular and charter airlines.
They stated that last month they had 30.5 percent more passengers and 23 percent more air operations compared to the same period last year.
