Sarajevo Airport registered its busiest September on record and marked an end to three consecutive months of declining passenger figures.
The airport welcomed 231.725 travellers in September, representing an increase of 4.4%. The figure was achieved despite a 6.4% decline in aircraft movements, indicating stronger loads on available flights.
During the first three quarters of the year, Sarajevo Airport handled 1.783.597 passengers, up 0.5% or an additional 9.486 travellers, Ex Yu Aviation news reports.
