Sarajevo Airport recorded its busiest September ever, welcoming 221,966 passengers – an 18% increase compared to last year. Aircraft movements also rose by 15.8%, reaching 1,914 operations.
In the first nine months of 2025, the airport handled 1,774,111 passengers, marking a 23.3% rise or 334,930 more travelers than the previous year. The upward trend is expected to continue in October, with scheduled capacity up by 20.6% year-on-year.
