Sarajevo Residents express their Rebellion due to the uncontrolled Increase in Fuel Prices by Protest Drive

A group of citizens gathered last night in Sarajevo to express their dissatisfaction with the uncontrolled increase in fuel prices by driving in protest.

As announced, the citizens gathered around 7:30 p.m. in front of the Energoinvest building on Ilidza, from where they headed towards the city in a convoy of vehicles.

The main reason for yesterday‘s gathering and protest drive is the increase in fuel prices in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

Also, the rebellion of the citizens grew even more after the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH (PABiH), when the initiative to include the item related to fuel excises on the agenda was not adopted.

The convoy of cars went to Skenderija, and then, without stopping, returned to Energoinvest.

As previously announced, traffic in the capital wasn’t blocked, and all participating cars were marked to avoid possible incidents.

On one of the cars the inscription “Real prices for real wages up to 900 BAM” was written, Klix.ba writes.
