Rifat Skrijelj, rector of the University of Sarajevo (UNSA), signed the Decision on the annulment of the doctorate of Sebija Izetbegovic, the general director of Sarajevo University Clinical Center, three days ago.
As Skrijelj said in an interview, he thus complied with the deadline set by the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs, and when he receives the Decision of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo on the temporary security measure, he will act according to it.
Yesterday, the deadline set by the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs passed. That Decision was prepared at the end of last week. However, we waited for Ms. Izetbegovic’s lawyers to deliver if they had anything new, and given that they had not delivered any new evidence until yesterday and that we had not received any Decision from the Court by the end of working hours, and my deadline was running out, I executed that Decision yesterday because it is my obligation. But, when I receive the Court’s Decision, I stand by what I said that we will act according to it,” said Skrijelj two days ago.
It should be recalled that the Municipal Court in Sarajevo adopted the proposal to determine a temporary security measure in the event of the annulment of Sebija Izetbegovic’s doctorate.
The lawyer team of Sebija Izetbegovic confirmed this information by viewing the Decision via CMS, that is, by accessing the cases electronically.
The decision should have reached the Rectorate of UNSA in the past two days, Klix.ba reports.
