Organizers expect a record number of participants from more than 25 countries.
The event is of humanitarian character, and will mark the International Day without cars.
In the context of the semi marathon will be organized the race ”Nato Fun Run” of four kilometers and will also will bring together several hundred of participants.
“It is a massive project of this kind in B&H and this group interest for participation shows how good our projects are listed at the regional level”, said the director of the Association”Marathon” Erol Mujanović.
The best athletes in the men and women’s category will receive € 300, second place will receive 200, third place 100, and the fourth and fifth 50 euros.
Applications for the 7th Sarajevo Sberbank semi marathon have started and can be done via website http://www.sarajevomarathon.ba.
Organized by the Association” Marathon” on 22nd September will be held a race only for women called ”Girls running” of three kilometers length.
