High Representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schmidt congratulated the BiH national football team on their qualification for the World Cup.
“What a night for Bosnia and Herzegovina! I celebrate with you from Brazil – pride, passion and a pure heart led you to victory,” Schmidt wrote.
He congratulated coach Sergej Barbarez, captain Edin Džeko and the entire team, as well as all the fans who never stopped believing.
“See you in the United States – the world is waiting for you,” Schmidt said.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team defeated Italy last night and secured a place in the World Cup.
