Michael Schumacher remains the richest Formula 1 driver in history.
Schumacher’s wealth is estimated at around 671 million euros. The seven-time world champion and one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers of all time suffered a serious skiing accident in France on December 29th, 2013, when he sustained severe injuries from which, unfortunately, he has not recovered to this day.
During his career, which lasted from 1991 to 2006 and from 2010 to 2012, Schumacher achieved 91 victories in Formula 1 races.
In second place in terms of wealth is also a seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton, whose wealth is estimated at 258 million euros.
He is followed by two-time world champion Fernando Alonso with an estimated wealth of 224 million euros. The wealth of Kimi Raikkonen, the 2007 world champion, is estimated at 216 million euros, while fifth on the list is three-time world champion Niki Lauda, whose wealth at the time of his death in 2019 amounted to around 172 million euros.
