The SDA legal team will prepare a criminal complaint against Milorad Dodik for the crime of inciting national, racial and religious hatred, discord and intolerance, which he committed with his statements in a recent interview with an American media and at a press conference in Banja Luka, the party announced today.
Dodik crossed all the red lines a long time ago, and his new insult to Bosniaks must not go unpunished. The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina must finally start doing its job, and not be Dodik’s accomplice, it was announced on the SDA website.
“The silence of Bosniak member of the Presidency, Denis Bećirović, on the insults directed by Dodik is shocking. Bećirović remains silent even today, just as he was silent when the Kabadahi from Laktaš cursed genocide. Instead of reacting, he, together with Minister Konaković and other officials of the Troika, anesthetizes the public with claims that Dodik has been defeated, that the past is a ‘political corpse’. The Troika is jointly responsible for Dodik’s new offensive,” they state from SDA.
In the statement, it is reminded that “first they claimed that he had ‘changed’, then that they ‘removed him from the political scene with excavators, and now they are trying to minimize the fact that he was removed from the ‘black list’ and that he is in a diplomatic rush”.
“Bragging on social networks about non-existent successes and results, while underestimating Dodik’s obvious political-lobby offensive and keeping silent about his insults, is dangerous for the state.
“Instead of a premature election campaign and creating a false image in the public, Bećirović and other officials of the Troika who represent the institutions of the state should finally understand the seriousness of the moment,” the statement said.
The SDA believes that the least they would have to do at this moment is “decisive action towards the American administration, and on the domestic front support the demands of the SDA to remove Dodik from the position of president of the SNSD in accordance with the court ruling”.
