The Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) has requested that the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina open election materials from certain polling stations in four local communities and conduct graphological expertise.
Acting President of the SDS, Jovica Radulović, said that the SDS is, after that, requesting that decisions be made on repeating the elections in Doboj, Zvornik, Bratunac and Laktaši.
Radulović stated that the SDS is observing the work of this institution, and claims that “the recount from polling stations ordered by the CEC is not what can lead to the will of voters in the Republika Srpska being properly proven”.
SDS Vice President Želimir Nešković said that the SDS is basing its call on the CEC to repeat the elections in four local communities on graphological analysis of signatures.
“Repeating the elections in these four local communities is a basic prerequisite for a democratic process until the end of this electoral process”, believes Nešković.
SDS Main Board member Darko Babalj asked the CEC why the pilot project with scanners and new technologies, which was in 2024, was not implemented this year in Doboj and Zvornik, Srna writes.
