Second Phase of the Tunnel “1 Mart” Completed

The construction works of the second phase at the tunnel ” 1 Mart” (1 March) are completed, thanks to the local companies and employees, announced for the Federal Press Agency, the Director of “Autoceste FB&H” Ensad Karić.

“On the occasion  of the completion of works and the success of local companies, on Saturday, 1 March, on the day of B&H Independence Day a ceremony will be organized where members of the B&H Presidency Željko Komšić, Nebojša Radmanović and Bakir Izetbegović, the Prime Minister of FB&H Nermin Nikšić, as well as other high officials are invited”, said Karić.

The tunnel “1.Mart” will be equipped with the most contemporary equipment, and the trip from Sarajevo – Zenica will be 6 km shorter.  The tunnel is being build by local companies Euroasfalt -ŽGP. The value of works for the second phase were 50 million BAM.
