Serbia handed over BiH Citizen charged with Organized Crime in ‘Sky App’ Case

The judicial institutions of the Republic of Serbia handed over to the judiciary of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Pejović, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is charged with organized crime, in the context of the “Sky app” case.

Serbia extradited Pejović, acting on the basis of a warrant issued at the request of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office.

The suspect is under investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office, as the first suspect in the “Sky app” case, which includes a large number of persons, from the area of Trebinje and Foča, suspected of smuggling large quantities of the narcotic drug marijuana, most often from the area of Montenegro in BiH, in a total amount of several hundreds of kilograms. as well as unauthorized trafficking in weapons and military equipment.

This investigation is one of the first cases formed with evidence from the Sky and Anom applications, and the prosecution and law enforcement agencies searched for the aforementioned suspect, who possessed a crypt for protected communication, for several months, after which he was located in the territory of Serbia where he was deprived of his liberty.

After being handed over to the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, the acting prosecutor will undertake further activities aimed at determining the detention measure for the suspect.
