Seventeen Years old Boy died of Measles Infection in BiH’s Capital

A 17-year-old boy from Sarajevo died as a result of measles infection.

Yesterday, the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of BiH (FBiH) received a report about the death of a seventeen-year-old boy during the past week.

The teenager was placed in the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo.

Epidemiologist of the Institute, Anisa Bajramović, pointed out that almost all those infected with measles are unvaccinated, as well as that the number of those who do get infected is quite insignificant, and they are vaccinated, the federal media reported.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, at least 4,315 measles patients have been registered in Sarajevo Canton.
