The play, which is a sort of continuation of the monodrama „Oj živote“, Ermin Sijamija and Josip Pejaković held a press conference.
Sijamija said that the monodrama „Oj živote“ was the most performed in the former Yugoslavia.
In addition, he said that Pejaković introduced changes in the manner of acting during that time.
About the new show, Pejaković said that his goal was to preserve „Oj živote“, but not with the re-setting of this monodrama but rather with the monodrama „Ućerivanje“ that follows the journey of the main actor.
The hero of Pejaković’s monodrama in „Oj živote„ is innocent in prison, in a prison that he is used to and does not want to get out. This is why he attacks the director of the prison, hoping to be jailed again. But then he is taken to a mental institution in Sokolac. Just how he was innocent in jail in „Oj živote“, now in „Ućerivanje“ he is smart in a mental hospital.
The premiere of the play is scheduled for Saturday, 15 March at the National Theatre in Sarajevo.
