During a repair of a tire of damper truck at a coal mine workshop in Bijeljina, six workers were injured, two of whom are seriously injured.
A mine officer reported to the police that the tire explosion occurred at 9:30 a.m. while a large dump truck was under repair at a mine workshop.
Assistance to minor injured workers was done immediately, while two workers were transported to Bijeljina hospital.
Material damage occurred at the property and the inventory in the workshop. The police is still conducting an investigation.
The Prosecutor on duty at the District Prosecutor’s Office Bijeljina and the Safety Inspector were notified of this event. The investigation is ongoing, Avaz.ba news portal reported.
