Due to the serious and uncontrolled security situation in Iran, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia advises Slovenian citizens who are in Iran to leave the country in their own organization and in a safe manner.
The ministry blacklisted Iran as a country with the highest threat level after several days of tensions between Iran and Israel.

Even before today’s change, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia advised against traveling to Iran. As the ministry adds, the political situation in Iran is otherwise unstable.
Protests and demonstrations can break out at any time, so citizens are advised to avoid large gatherings. If they find themselves near the protest, they should retreat to safety as soon as possible because there may be a violent reaction from the security authorities.
Iranian authorities can restrict mobile internet at any time, the ministry warns, AA writes.
