‘’With one European gas law, companies such as Italian Liquivex would be ready to double its investments in B&H. This is the path that should be followed in order to attract more investment, hire new employees and meet the signs of social and economic adversity, which the recent protests have openly revealed’’, said the Ambassador of Italy to B&H Ruggero Corrias on the occasion of the visit to the Italian production facility in municipalities Usora, Tešanj and Doboj Jug (northern B&H)
Accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade Ermina Salkičević-Dizdarević, representative of the Italian company recalled that in company Liquivex, in which the Italian Liquigas participates with 90 percent capital, is the first private operator in the sector of liquefied petroleum gas in B&H, and Socksmaker 3 is the first manufacturer of socks in B&H.
Company Socksmaker 3 has announced that in the next two years, it intends to invest one million Euros and employ an additional 80 people, concentrating a larger part of its production in B&H, while leaving China. Both of these cases are evidence of how the delocalization of production in this Balkan country, accompanied by strong diplomacy as supporting growth, could represent a chance for growth and development of both countries, said in a statement by the Italian Embassy.
