The BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs and the President of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Zlatko Lagumdžija said he expects the leaders of the six main parties at a meeting on Saturday to solve the problem of military assets in accordance with the earlier agreement adopted in Banja Luka and the decision of the Constitutional Court.
The leader of the Alliance for a Better Future (SBB) BiH and the Minister of Security Fahrudin Radončić organized the meeting. The main topic of discussion will be the obligations that BiH officials have taken on during the recent visit of the NATO General Secretary Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
Lagumdžija said that the leaders must comply with the decision of the BiH Constitutional Court that was adopted a year ago on state property, ‘’because otherwise any other solution that is brought in the same court in the future could be opposed’’.
He also said that he expects the BiH Presidency to play a constructive role regarding solving the issue of military property until Saturday.
‘’The agreement and the decision of the Court should be our road map to separate military property and to begin its registration. All state property has to be put into operation as soon as possible so that it can be used by those who need it’’, said Lagumdžija.
