Soreca and Lammy visited the EUFOR Base in Butmir

The European Union and the United Kingdom continue to closely coordinate their activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of preserving a secure and stable environment, said today the Head of the European Union Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Luigi Soreca.

A meeting with the Foreign Minister of the United Kingdom, David Lammy, was held today at the EUFOR headquarters in Butmir, during which the current political crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina was discussed.

“The European Union and the United Kingdom continue to closely coordinate their activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of preserving a secure and stable environment. We will work together to preserve the constitutional order and the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to support its future as a single, united and sovereign state on its path to membership in the European Union,” Soreca announced on the X platform.

British Foreign Secretary David Lammy arrived in our country last night for a visit, and upon arrival in Sarajevo he met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Elmedin Konaković. Lammy met today with members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović and Željko Komšić.
