
The Italian company Pyrox is planning to invest about 150 million EUR in co-generation projects on wood biomass in BiH. In each municipality where the project is implemented, 25 workers will be employed, and according to the business plan, annual profit in each municipality would amount to about one million EUR.
FIPA and the Embassy of Italy in BiH will provide all necessary assistance to the investors and municipalities with the aim of faster realization of investments, according to the statement.
On the meeting was also discussed the annual Business Forum of Central-European Initiative, which will be held on the 26th of November in Sarajevo and that will bring together a significant number of investors from member countries of initiative, including Italian investors, who, according to the ambassador, are interested in the textile, wood and metal industry of BiH, as well as in energy projects in the field of alternative energy.
Ambassador Corrias fully supported the implementation of activities of FIPA on the realization of direct visits to Italian investors. The Agency planned, with the engagement of the Chamber of Commerce of Italy, to visit the interested companies in Italy in order to present investment opportunities in BiH by the end of the year.
