Yesterday’s meeting between Entity President Milorad Dodik and Russian President Vladimir Putin caused reactions throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the State Department also reacted to the request of the Voice of America.
The State Department spokesman emphasized that Washington does not believe that anyone should give the Russian president a platform to promote his aggression against Ukraine, and then added: “Milorad Dodik’s visit is just the latest example in a series of examples that show how isolated he is from the Euro-Atlantic community.”
The answer states that the United States stands by the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and supports the safe and prosperous future of that country in the Euro-Atlantic community.
“But we will also hold accountable individuals and institutions that threaten the stability and security of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” says the State Department’s response.
