Strengthening Military Cooperation of China and B&H Is Mutual Interest of Both Countries

The strengthening of cooperation between China and B&H and cooperation on projects of mutual interest of the two friendly countries is one of the conclusions at the high level meeting of the delegation of the B&H Ministry of Defense and B&H Armed Forces with a delegation of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of China, which was held yesterday in Peking.

The Ministry of Defense delegation and the B&H Armed Forces, led by Minister of Defense Zekerijah Osmić, officially met and spoke with a high delegation of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of China, led by Vice-President of the Central Military Commission of China and also the deputy commander of the Armed Forces of China General Xu Qiliang.

During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation and concluded that there are needs and opportunities for this cooperation to continue to expand in areas that are of interest to both countries, based on the platform adopted at the Summit of countries of Southeast Europe and China held in the beginning of 2012.

The B&H delegation of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces visited yesterday the United Nations Peacekeeping Training Center, which is located near Beijing, and there was an official meeting with the Commander of the Center Colonel Zhang Liao.
