Strengthening the Protection of National Minorities in Focus of Conference held in Neum

The Secretariat of the Framework Convention for Protection of National Minorities (FCNM) and the Horizontal Facility Action on “Strengthening the protection of national minorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, in close co-operation with the CoE Office in Sarajevo and the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, jointly organised a follow up meeting on the application of FCNM in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The aim of the meeting is to gather competent authorities and representatives of institutions responsible/involved in the reporting towards the FCNM and review its current state of implementation.

Key speakers at the conference were Besarion Bokhasvili, President of the Advisory Committee of the FCNM, Marco Leidekker, Executive Secretary of the FCNM, Drahoslav Štefánek, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Sarajevo, Saliha Đuderija, Assistant Minister, Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH.

The event tookplace on April 12^th, 2019 in hotel Sunce, Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
