An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale hit the Raha-Lehkumi and Kvemo Svaneti regions in Georgia today.
A statement from the Georgian Institute of Earth Sciences and the National Center for Seismic Monitoring stated that the earthquake occurred at 1:44 p.m. local time.
The epicenter of the earthquake was registered in the village of Psor, which is located six kilometers from the city of Oni in the north of Georgia.
For now, there is no information about the consequences of the earthquake that was felt in several Georgian cities.
