Strong Earthquake hits Tokat Region in Turkey

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 on the Richter scale hit Tokat province in northeastern Turkey, the National Disaster and Emergency Management Agency announced.

The earthquake happened yesterday around 3:00 p.m., and the epicenter was near the town of Sulusaray at a depth of about six kilometers.

For now, there is no information about the damage caused or human losses.
