Stronger Earthquake hits Bosnia and Herzegovina

An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale, with an epicenter 17 kilometers southeast of Trebinje, was felt last night in the wider area of ​​Herzegovina, Dalmatia and Montenegro, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) announced.

The earthquake was registered 52 minutes after midnight.

Apart from disturbing the population, it did not cause any other consequences, the EMSC stated.

The Seismology Sector of the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology of Montenegro announced that the epicenter was two kilometers southwest of Ćilipi near Dubrovnik in Croatia and that the focus of the earthquake was located at a depth of six kilometers.
