Student Loans nap.baThe Government of the FB&H gave consent to the Report on the work and Financial report of the Fund for Student Loans of the FB&H for year 2014.

In the academic year 2013/2014, a total of 120 student loans were approved, individually amounting to 2.500 BAM (250 BAM per month for a period of ten months).

On September 22nd, 2014 the Federal Ministry of Education and Science adopted a decision to allocate additional 300.000 BAM to the Fund for Student Loans, and for the academic year 2014/2015, following a public call, 120 student loans in the same individual amounts were approved.

The users of student loans who complete their university studies at recognized institutions of higher education in the FB&H in the regular time with the overall grade point average (GPA) during the studies from 9.7 to 10 are exempted from the return of funds allocated in their entirety, while all the others are obliged to refund in accordance with the contract and the public call.

Namely, most of the loans were approved to the students studying at the universities in the field of technical sciences.

“Due to the smaller number of applications of students from faculties in the field of agriculture, natural and humanities sciences, the available resources have been reallocated to other scientific fields in accordance with the applications and number of credits of the students who applied”, it was announced from the Office for Public Relations of the Government of the FB&H.
