In accordance with the Instruction on deadlines and order of election activities of direct elections for General Elections, the deadline for submission of candidate lists for compensatory mandates expires on August 5.
The list of candidates for compensatory mandates is a list submitted by political entities, from which a compensatory mandate is assigned according to the order of the candidates on the list, and which is submitted after the certification of the regular list.
The candidate list for compensatory mandates contains the names of candidates who are already on the regular candidate lists submitted by a political party or coalition for one or more multi-member constituencies. Candidates who are on the candidate list for compensatory mandates can be from the list of any multi-member electoral unit of one entity and for the same electoral level.
After the checks and verifications have been carried out, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will publish the verified candidate lists in the daily press, official newspapers, and on the website http://www.izbori.ba by August 20, the Information Office of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
