The Federal Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Adnan Delic, held a meeting yesterday with the Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina– BiH (IDDEEA), Almir Badnjevic, in order to discuss the activities necessary for the implementation of the support program for mothers giving birth for every newborn child in the Federation of BiH (FBiH) in 2024.
Delic highlighted the main goal of maximum reduction of documentation requests from applicants, and implementation of all processes through official channels between the Ministry and IDDEEA.
Badnjevic expressed full support for this goal, and promised to do everything in their power to simplify and speed up the process of distributing support to women in labor.
It was announced that during the next few days, agreements will be signed between the Ministry and IDDEEA for the continuation of activities that will enable the imminent start of the distribution of support to mothers in the amount of 1,000 BAM for each newborn child, the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy announced.
Yesterday‘s meeting was also attended by members of the Ministry’s working group working on the preparation of the Regulation on the basis of which these funds will be allocated, including a member of the UNDP in BiH, who said that the adjustment of the application, i.e. the digital solution, is nearing the end and is expected to be fully customized soon.
