Sweden will officially become the 32nd Member of NATO

On Monday, Sweden will officially become the 32nd member of NATO.

Swedish state media report that Sweden’s reception ceremony will be held on March 11 at the NATO headquarters in Brussels, the capital of Belgium.

The Swedish flag will be displayed at the NATO headquarters. Thus, Sweden will officially become the 32nd member of the Alliance.

The Hungarian parliament approved Sweden’s admission to NATO on February 26, completing the approval process from all allies.

Sweden applied for NATO membership on May 18, 2022.
