Viable business ideas and applications that offer an additional element that would influence development are expected in the framework of the competition “Challenge”.
570 registered small enterprise from B&H and Sweden have applied for the first competition “Challenge”. 6 companies were selected to receive the grants, after which there will be an evaluation procedure.
Six companies -BerDiz Consulting AB, Gračanka, Net-pro, SEO, TBA:PRO and Ultimax submitted their proposals and presented innovative and commercial viable business ventures. Their business plans contain clear elements of the additional effects of development such as capacity building, technology transfer and job creation. Companies will implement various projects in the sectors of industry, ranging from consultation in the field of nuclear energy to IT services, such as software development.
“This time there is a high probability that the selected projects for our grants would become commercially successful and provide a clear additional value for the future of these companies. All the projects have an additional positive impact on development as an integral part of their business efforts”, explained Pelle Persson, the Director of Development Cooperation Sector of the Swedish Embassy.
She expressed her satisfaction for finding companies that represent different sectors, successful companies as well as start-up ideas which come from all parts of B&H.
