The team of doctors from the University Clinical Center of the RS completed the examinations of the war criminal Ratko Mladić, who was sentenced to life imprisonment.
The team also got in touch with the war criminal Stojan Župljanin, who is with Mladić in the detention unit, and who gave the doctors information about Mladić’s health problems.
“From Župljanin, we took information about Mladić’s capabilities when performing everyday activities, which will contribute to our general finding, that is, the consular opinion that we will submit to the Hague Tribunal,” said the general director of the UKC, Vlado Đajić.
He stated that the war criminal Mladić was glad that the doctors from the RS visited him, as well as the opportunity to say in Serbian about his ailments.
