Association of Citizens ”Tender” believes that BiH could save around 600 million BAM with consistent application and compliance with the Law on Public Procurement.
They’ve already sent their proposals for a new law on public procurement, with annexes to political parties of the parliamentary majority and the Council of Ministers.
If these solutions would be implemented, the annual amount of corruption would be reduced to about five percent, which would allow annual savings of about 600 million BAM.
In developing a proposal for a new law on public procurement their analytical and research team have used the views and all the provisions of the EU directives relating to procurement and best practices from neighbouring countries.
