There were explosions in the premises of TAI Ankara Kahramankazan, the Turkish aviation industry, and the authorities and media in Turkey labeled the attack as terrorist.
It was stated that the personnel were sent to shelters for security reasons. Security forces, firefighters and medical teams were sent to the scene.
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya also confirmed the attack.
“There was a terrorist attack on the facilities of Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ) Ankara Kahramankazan. Unfortunately, after the attack we had dead and injured people. May God have mercy on our martyrs, and I wish our wounded a speedy recovery. We will inform the public about the development of the event.
