The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in sitting volleyball achieved its third victory at the Golden League of Nations held in Poland. Bh. the selection defeated Germany with a score of 3:0.
As announced by the BiH Sitting Volleyball Federation, although our national team took the lead in the first set, Germany managed to equalize the result, after which BiH again gained a 2:1 lead in the third set.
However, the Germans did not give up and reached a new tie, after which the fifth set was started.
In the fifth set, Germany started well again, but with better concentration, our team achieved its third consecutive victory and maximum performance in this tournament.
Mirzet Duran, one of the best players in the world and the mainstay of the BiH team, points out that the fifth set, in which our team gained more knowledge and strength, was decided.
“Germany is a well-known opponent to us, the match was really difficult in five sets. We managed to turn it around in the end, even though we lost twice in the fifth set. I think we deservedly won, that we found more strength and knowledge in the fifth set and that we managed to win. The tournament is really high-quality, we can see it from the teams that are there. We can say that with today’s match against Croatia, if we win, we secure first place,” said Duran.
