Today, the British royal family congratulated Prince Harry on his 40th birthday, and due to long-term strained relationships, it was done publicly, via social networks. The royal family website shared a picture of Harry with a birthday cake emoji and the caption “Wishing the Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!”.
Prince and Princess of Wales William and Kate shared the picture, adding their birthday wishes.
The announcement from the royal family marked the first public birthday greeting to Harry since 2021.
Harry and Megan announced that they are ending their royal duties in January 2020. They moved to America and said they hope to become financially independent, signing lucrative contracts with the companies Netflix and Spotify.
