”It is an initiative that has existed for the past few years, to even fix the number of funds that will be intended for the return process, but there was no political will. This time it happened and in the Federal Parliament we received a budget as needed by returnees,” told the Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees, Edin Ramic.
”The most important thing for us is to support young people in the Republika Srpska (RS) entity, from support for a prenatal policy to support for primary school students, high school students, and those who have completed their studies to get their first job in RS,” said Ramic.
He announced workshops and merging of businessmen, and maybe even a fair of returnee economy in order for people to connect, exchange ideas, and find new markets with the support of the Ministry.
Minister Ramic emphasized that he was most satisfied with the completed infrastructure, with the connection of populated places because a significant number of settlements were not connected. He also mentioned the significant number of facilities built on the Peace March route.
”For me personally, the most important thing is that we have supported every mother in the RS, with one-time assistance, this year we will continue to do so and develop a program that will provide one-time support to large families,” noted Ramic.
This year, the Ministry will, among other things, support the arrangement of the Memorial Center in Potocari.
