Prosecutors Ćazim Hasanspahić and Dubravko Čampara, in their closing arguments during the trial in the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the “Dženan Memić” case, requested today that the accused be declared guilty and receive the most severe punishments for organized crime, assistance after the commission of a criminal offense, giving false testimony and preventing evidence.
In the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, the defense of the accused in the “Dženan Memic” case presented their closing arguments and demanded an acquittal.
The proceedings in the mentioned case have ended and the verdict will be read by the Judicial Council on July 21 of this year.
Let us remind you that twenty-one-year-old Dženan Memic died on February 15, 2016, after severe injuries he received on February 8 of the same year, while walking with his girlfriend Alisa Mutap on Velika Alley in Ilidža. The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment against Zijad Mutap, Hasan Dupovac, Alisa Ramić, (Mutap), Josip Barić and Muamer Ožegović on the charge that they concealed evidence about the manner in which Dženan Memic was injured in February 2016, after which he died.
On June 26, before the Appellate Panel of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the evidentiary proceedings in the case against the accused Zijad Mutap, Alisa Ramić, Hasan Dupovac, Josip Barić and Muamer Ožegović were completed.
