The President of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH), Irena Hadžiabdić, said that this institution published preliminary results on its website with 59.88 percent of processed polling stations.
She explained that the CEC will announce the preliminary election results twice in the next 24 hours, every 24 hours in the next five days, and then every 48 hours until the full official results are announced.
Hadžiabdić specified that voter turnout was 47.73 percent without data from two polling stations, and that so far 29,000 parcels have been received from abroad.

She stated that the unconfirmed ballots will be counted first, then the ballots of voters who voted in absentia, then the ballots of voters who voted via mobile teams, then the ballots of voters who voted by mail and finally the ballots of voters who voted in diplomatic and consular missions.
Hadžiabdić said that the CEC received the most complaints regarding violations related to the violation of election silence – a total of 164, and that requests from political entities for the annulment of the election have already begun to arrive.
She added that in the coming days, she will deal with planning the organization of calling the postponed elections.
