Ahead of the World Cup match that the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team will play against Canada, one of the World Cup hosts, tonight at 9 p.m. local time, the Commander of NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, Brigadier General James Fowler, made a statement.
He expressed his support for our Dragons, ahead of their appearance at the World Cup.
Fowler also expressed his delight at the atmosphere and passion that the fans in Bosnia and Herzegovina show for the national team.
“I thought the United States of America had the best fans in the world, until I came to Bosnia and Herzegovina and saw how much passion you have for your national team. Your enthusiasm, just like the national team, seems unbeatable. Good luck at the World Cup. Let’s go Dragons to the final,” said Fowler.
Let us remind you that after the match with Canada, Sergej Barbarez’s team will play against Switzerland on June 18 in Inglewood (Los Angeles), and the Dragons’ last opponent in the first stage of the competition will be Qatar on June 24 in Seattle.
The World Cup in Mexico, USA and Canada is the 23rd in history. For the first time, it is being played in three countries and 16 cities, and a record 48 national teams are participating.
