Five days ago, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, adopted information on activities and gave prior approval to this Ministry in the process of issuing an Energy License to the company Imres d.o.o. Livno, for the construction of the Siroka Draga wind farm in the mountainous area of the Kamesnica hill, in the area of the municipalities of Livno and Tomislavgrad.
The information, among other things, states that the project envisages the positioning of 19 wind turbines with a unit power of 6.6 MW, a total installed power of 125.4 MW (19×6.6 MW), and a planned annual electricity production of 403 GWh.
The Siroka Draga wind farm project was started in 2009 with continuous monitoring of wind speed and direction. Based on the obtained data, it was concluded that the mentioned location offers a huge resource potential.

In accordance with the current regulations in the field of energy, for the construction of new and reconstruction of existing power generation facilities in the FBiH, whose installed capacity is greater than 30 MW, the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Industry issues an energy permit with the prior consent of the Government and the Parliament of FBiH.
The Prime Minister of the FBiH is responsible for sending the information on the activities in the process of issuing the Energy License to the company Imres d.o.o. Livno, with the conclusion, to the Parliament of the FBiH for consideration and adoption, Biznis Info reports.
