The defense player of Sampdoria and the player in the national team of B&H arrived in Genoa in the summer of 2015 and, as it looks, is changing the environment after six months already.
The first option was Stuttgart, but Zukanović chose Roma instead.
According to the media, Zukanović already negotiated all details of the transfer to Roma, medical examinations were supposed to be conducted last night, and the contract should be signed today.
Zukanović will be playing for Roma as a player in loan. Value of the contract is 1.5 million EUR, with a buy-out clause of 2.5 million BAM, Football Italia reports.
The 28-year-old player, who can play either as a left or central back, recorded 16 performances in the Serie A in this season and scored three goals.
Zukanović will thus be the third Bosnian in Roma, after Miralem Pjanić and Edin Džeko.
