The evacuation of BiH citizens from Iran and Israel due to the poor security situation in the region begins today, it was confirmed to BHRT.
A certain number of BiH citizens have already confirmed that they have decided to return to BiH.
Coordination is underway with BiH embassies and consular offices in the Middle East. An additional contact number has been established for emergencies and will be available 24 hours a day.
This decision comes after the BiH Presidency made a decision to temporarily close BiH embassies in these countries.
The evacuation of embassy staff has also been ordered. Consular affairs are being taken over by BiH representative offices in Turkey (Ankara and Istanbul), Jordan and Egypt.
