The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy has informed the public that the Law on Holidays, dating from Former Socialist Yugoslavia, but, which is applied as federal law, stipulates that the New Year is a holiday and is to be celebrated for two days on January 1 and 2.
On holidays, employers, institutions, administration bodies and other legal entities will not work.
